Planned Parenthood Keystone has stopped providing essential reproductive health services to Medicaid patients in Pennsylvania due to financial losses caused by the state's Medicaid defunding provisions under House Resolution 1. This has significantly reduced access to care in counties like Bucks, where no Federally Qualified Health Centers exist, forcing patients to seek services in other counties such as Philadelphia.

Pennsylvania has 154 crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs), outnumbering the state's 21 abortion facilities by more than 7 to 1, with many CPCs using misleading tactics such as appointment confusion and medicalization to deter abortion access. Despite Governor Josh Shapiro ending state funding for CPCs in 2023, these centers continue to grow in Pennsylvania, largely supported by private donors and operating with little regulatory oversight.
